Pixar has made a series of classic films, and some of them, like "Toy Story 3" and "Monsters, Inc." are also high on the list of the best films in their respective years. The first "Cars," however, was not up, and now has a sequel."Cars", even though it's a lot of money at the box office and merchandising, did not fit the mold of other Pixar films. Anthropomorphic cars with big eyes looking back realistic your windshield is never enough. Unlike the brightness of the qualities, intelligence and good "Ratatouille" or "Wall-E", "Cars" could not connect emotionally, and the humor fell flat.
"Cars 2" is not better than the original, and might even be slightly worse. Belongs to the world of Grand Prix racing car, and is one of 007 espionage thriller, an action movie part, and one of the lame comedy.
The focus this time is wrong dimwitted tow truck, Mater, and the plot revolves around how he was taken to a secret agent, and how he accidentally gets caught in a conspiracy of international espionage.
Voiced by comedian Larry the Cable Guy jokes are low forehead Mater, obvious and not particularly funny.
Owen Wilson, which expresses the lighting McQueen race car, is relegated to a secondary character in the sequel.
The film is simplistic moral and plot devices to get there is quite predictable and unoriginal.
On the positive side, the CGI animation is very similar, such as coatings in Paris, London and Tokyo, the Italian Riviera are just beautiful to see. More Michael Caine adds a certain class as a new voice, a car that is a spy master.
"Cars 2" was directed by John Lasseter, Pixar has created and was responsible for his many masterpieces. Why is this man with a history of great judgments are loved these cars is beyond comprehension.
"Cars 2" and "Cars" is another rare misfire from Pixar. Young children are, but that's all.
