Cars 2 (2011) - Director John Lasseter has entered the driver's seat for a sequal to the beloved Golden Globe-winning 2006 movie "Cars." As the producer of "Ratatouille," Brad Lewis, who takes the passenger seat as co-director, with Dennis Ream - associate producer of "Up" and visual effects executive producer on Star Wars Episode 3 - to assume the role of producer.
After Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) have found a best friend in tow faithful Mater (Larry the Cable Guy), who now embark on an adventure that takes them around the world.
When Lightning McQueen has a chance for a lifetime of race in the first ever World Grand Prix, he asks his best friend Mater make him a member of the team in the pits. But, Mater is the start of this adventure own world when he receives the error as an American spy.
Lightning McQueen makes his chances in the race for 3-part exhibition that will take him to Japan, Italy and England, with its new custom paint job and even real working lights. What Mater try to be there for her best friend in the biggest race of his life, he has to race against the evil British spies and international hunting the most explosive of this small town has ever seen tow , via Tokyo and Europe.
McQueen and Mater meet certain color mark on their international adventure, including British master spy McMissile Finn (Michael Caine), Francesco Bernoulli main rival McQueen (John Turturro), a car micro dancer Okuni Kabuki, Sumo wrestlers and pinion Tanaka Kingpin Nobunaga, plus a whole lot more.
Cars 2 will be the greatest adventure of four wheels in 2011, both young and old are sure to enjoy. Cars 2 hits the road June 23 in Australia, 24 in the U.S. and July 22, 2011, the United Kingdom in June and can be seen in Disney Digital 3D in theaters normal.
